St. Patrick’s Day, a national day in Ireland, is one to remember. St. Patrick, known for his missionary work in converting Irish people to Catholicism from paganism, is a day celebrated in many cultures. This holiday used to be a dry holiday in Ireland, until the early 1970s because Ireland wanted to expand its tourism during springtime. In America, there are many festivals, and fanfares.
